I Found The Kitchen!

There was cherry blueberry lemon pie for breakfast. It was made yesterday, by me.

True story.

Even truer is the fact it was a delicious pie. Too bad more people were not around to be witness to this great concoction.

I must say, Boo has the flu so I am fine with visitors being at bay. It would have been good to have multiple taste-testers... for the confidence and compliments.

He was sick before the pie. Really.

A different kind of pie (pi)

Regardless, I am pleased with how it turned out and have vowed to step into the kitchen a little more and spread my cooking wings.

We are slowly moving along on the house. Steady speed with lots yet to be done.

Progress has been fluttering from one room to the next depending where my interest can be maintained within that moment. When interest dwindles there is always something else for us to jump on. No lack of options here.

I worry about what other people think more than I should. That's evident when it comes to our house.

We are the two of only a few who know what we started with, and how far we've really come. I am glad there are no before pictures.

I want people to only know our home as our home, the place we've made it into.
That being said, our accomplishments might appear to be minuscule with everyone else. I would hate to be judged poorly on our hard work.

My office is next on the list. Boy do I long for a place to sit and create.

We planned to begin this week and finish up by weekend, but I am not sure with Boo being under the weather. I think it may have to be postponed a little.

I should have an update next week.

Maybe even with some house pictures!

  1. We started renos on our bathroom and boy...is it ever going really really REALLY slow. I can't help much because of my back so that means it's all resting on my hubby's shoulders to do it all. Eeeks!

  2. I need to find the kitchen more! I tend to worry more about what others think too but I think that is natural at times. Good luck on all your projects!
